It is often after a high holy moment that the devil comes full force to kill steal and destroy. When Jesus was baptized, He God spoke audibly to the world "this is My Son, in whom I am well pleased". The very next thing? The enemy came to tempt Him.

After his victory on Mount Carmel, Elijah was stricken with panic and fled for his life. He killed 450 enemy priests after God proved Himself God at Elijah's request. He immediately went into hiding and pouted about one little girl who wanted to kill him. Do you know how long he pouted? One day. Elijah was in the cave feeling sorry for himself for One. Day. The Lord consoled him; gave him water and rest and food. Then touched his heart and mind and sent him on his way.

In power and victory, satan comes to take. In the low moments, the Lord comes to give.
